On Tuesday, over 150 people attended a lecture by David North, national chairman of the Socialist Equality Party in the United States, at the University of Michigan. The meeting, called to mark the centenary of the founding of the Left Opposition by Leon Trotsky in 1923, also addressed the imperialist wars in Gaza and Ukraine.
