Christoph Vandreier, the Deputy National Secretary of the Socialist Equality Party in Germany and a candidate in the European elections, addressed a rally in front of the Ecuadorian embassy in Berlin, Germany, in defense of Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange. The rally was organized by the group “Bloque Latinoamericano Berlin” to protest “the illegal extradition of Julian Assange to the British police” as part of the “authoritarian neoliberal measures” of Lenín Moreno’s government.
