On February 5, 2003, then Secretary of State Colin Powell gave a lying speech to the United Nations to justify US aggression against Iraq. Armed with photos, graphs and audiotapes, Powell claimed that the evidence he presented showed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
