The WSWS received the following letter in response to “Israel rejects Hamas offer of cease-fire and steps up hostilities in Gaza” and “The reoccupation of Gaza: Israel and the Big Lie”.

Thank you very much for the two professional and precise articles. As an Israeli living in Jerusalem, I find it impossible to get objective information about Israel’s military actions taking place not far from here, actions that clearly amount to war crimes and to crimes against humanity. The distorted information and propaganda given by the Israeli media, portraying Israel (48 years occupier) as the victim, makes me sick. The information and the exposure of the “big lie” make me angry and frustrated in face of my government’s deeds. But at least I know where I am living. I would very much like to subscribe to your articles by e-mail.
